Throughout the pregnancy and births of her children, Taryn developed an immense passion for pregnancy and birth. Taryn believes that every low risk family should have access to the midwifery model of care, should they desire. Taryn strives to keep the balance between holistic and modern midwifery saying: “Good midwifery care is a balance of knowing when to sit on your hands and when to use them.”

Taryn graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Midwives College of Utah and is a Certified Professional Midwife through the North American Registry of Midwives. Taryn has current certification for CPR and certification as a Neonatal Resuscitation Provider co-sponsored by the American Heart Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Taryn is also committed to having an inclusive midwifery practice supporting all families including BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color), LGBTQ+ family units, solo parents and more.
